POPCORN IN OPTOINNOVA 2014

OFTALMAR (Alicante, Spain), coordinator of the POPCORN consortium, participated in the seminars OPTOINNOVA 2014 that took place last 23 May in the University of Alicante (Spain). The Head of the Research Unit of OFTALMAR, Dr David P Piñero, held a lecture entitled "Avances en la caracterización clínica de la biomecánica corneal". He revised the concept of corneal biomechanics and performed a critical review of the different techniques described for the in vivo determination of the biomechanical properties of the human cornea to date, describing the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
