The prestigious scientific journal PLos One has recently published an article entitled "Coupled biomechanical response of the cornea assessed by non-contact tonometry.A simulation study" and performed by members of the AMB group of the University of Zaragoza and OFTALMAR in the context of the POPCORN european project. The objective of this study was to study the interplay corneal geometry, material behaviour and loading to better understand and interpret the results obtained with a non-contact tonometry test.
